This time of year in the photography industry is WPPI season. It’s when all the wedding and portrait photographers in the country flock to Las Vegas for a big conference.
So I thought it would be fitting to share a portrait photograph I made a few months back.
This photograph is of a couple who are now married but at the time just got engaged. They both graduated from Rutgers, although they didn’t meet there.
We had the fortune of getting onto the football field at the stadium. We originally only planned on making photographs outside the stadium.
Sometimes things work out unexpected and beautifully.
In this case, the Rutgers football team didn’t win (I think it was even off season), but Rutgers won because two great people celebrated their engagement at the stadium.
