In 2010, I planned my proposal in great detail, recorded a video of it, and photographed it myself without my (now) wife realizing what was happening.

She was so mad at me for slowing down her morning routine and making her late for work. Little did she know I called her boss and got her the day off.

Since then many other couples have asked me to document their proposals. I’ve had the honor of documenting simple and complex surprise proposals throughout New Jersey.

How Surprise Proposal Photography Sessions Work

• Before the session, we will have either an in-person, phone, or email-based consultation.
• Depending on the location and distance, we will visit the location ahead of time to further plan and confirm hiding spots.
• On the big day, I will arrive at the location 30-60 minutes ahead of time to get situated.
• Try to relax and enjoy the moment. You’ll do great!
• The proposal session will come with Facebook-ready digital files for sharing with friends and family, and you will be able to order any prints you would like to have on your wall.
