Friday’s weather report for Saturday in New York City didn’t look so good. In fact, my Uncle, +MITCHELL STEIN was supposed to come with me to the Photo Plus Expo, but he decided against it because his drive home would be really long and annoying in the snow. I don’t blame him. My drive home after getting back to the train station in New Jersey, was twice as long as it should have been.
Because of the weather I decided to go to the Photo Plus Expo with my Canon S90 and the iPhone 4S because its camera is fantastic. I met up with my friend +David Teng to walk around the show. I watched my friend +Brian Matiash present to a group, visited +Amber McCoy at the Westcott booth, Shai at the Spider Holster booth and hung out with +Oleg Gutsol +Andrey Tochilin +Jennifer Tse and +Evgeny Tchebotarev from 500px. What a great team!
David and I spent some time at the Metal Mural booth – always a fan of there stuff. It’s stunning!
There was a lot to see and also a lot of the same stuff. Was the show disappointing? Not for me. I enjoy it each year because it’s a fun, simple show where I get to see so many people I rarely get to see.
Did you go to the show? What did you think?
Thanks for reading and happy shooting,
Scott
