While in Boston I was walking around with my friend Bob Lussier and we stopped at this amazing view.
I noticed how much traffic was in this spot, both foot and auto traffic due to the tourist trap.
So I immediately decided that the 10-stop neutral density filter and a long exposure was needed so I could remove the bulk of the cars, buses and people from the scene.
After a variety of exposure experiments I decided on the final exposure and waited for the ideal moment for the sun to reflect off the one building and enough of the movement to scatter.
This is the end result of patience, timing, exposure and creativity.
The photograph was made using the Nikon 20mm f/2.8 lens and process in Adobe Lightroom.
Thanks for reading and happy shooting,
Scott
