Find Your Direction

find-direction

While walking around Cambridge, Massachusetts one day with Melissa we decided to use the Food Network iPhone app to find a place to eat lunch.

We found a place that sounded amazing and started walking towards it.

Turned out that the place had closed so while standing on a street corner looking for new restaurant I noticed this painted hand pointing down the road.

Camera: Nikon D800
Lens: Nikon 24-70mm f2.8 at 70mm
Exposure: f/2.8 1/200 at ISO 100
Processing: Adobe Lightroom

This is another reminder to always have your camera ready while walking around unknown locations.

If my camera was in the bag and I was not on the lookout for anything interesting I totally would have missed this.

While it’s not something mind blowing, it’s something interesting and the textures are a lot of fun.

So keep that camera ready!

Thanks for reading and happy shooting,

Scott
