Engagement Photographs & Getting Creative With Lighting

Recently a photograph from the same session which you see here, was discussed at Belovely You in an article on how to replicate softbox light with a portable setup.

The article talked about how to use a simple reflector and a flash bouncing off of it, to create the softbox look.

Please head over to Belovely You to give it a read.

The photographs were made at Brooklyn Bridge Park in New York.

It’s a very popular location for engagement and wedding photographs.  If you plan on going, try a week day or night for smaller crowds and less tourists.

Thanks for reading and happy shooting,

Scott
