A wise photographer once said, “The best camera is the one you have with you”. Chase Jarvis was right. There are times when we just don’t feel like lugging around a big SLR. During a recent trip to New York City with Melissa (to pick up my wedding right), I brought my Canon S90 which I shoot on RAW. Sometimes… that is all you need.

City Photography Tip:

When walking around a city, with whatever camera you might be carrying, look straight up. It can make for a very interesting photograph. Remember… Look up!

    Very interesting point of view. I haven’t seen totally white cloud like that for a long time in AZ.

    Hmmm.. I did not know you can take raw on S90. I may just buy one as backup.

      The S90 has been replaced by the S95, which is also a very nice pocket camera (with RAW)

    Sweet shot something very different than what I have seen before, looks nice. Truer words have not been spoken as far as your tip goes.

    Nothing worse than having to say “if I only had my camera…”
