Hoboken Pose

Stepping away from my Acadia trip for this photo…

My younger brother got engaged recently, and Melissa and I went to Hoboken, New Jersey (home of Frank Sinatra) where they live, to make their engagement photos.

The photo here is one I made on our way back from one location headed back to their apartment.

Making this photograph black and white brings a sense of nostalgia to the image, whereas the original is actually quite colorful and modern.

I have been nominated for the black and white challenge by Matt Suess. The deal is that for 5 days you must post a black and white image and each day nominate another photographer to do the same. Today is day 5 of 5 for me. Today I will nominate Daryl Meek for the challenge.
