The photograph you see was made at Eastern State Penitentiary in Philly, PA.
When walking around the grounds of this old prison (now a museum) there is so much to see around every corner.
Every time you visit you will see something new.
Sometimes you will visit without a cloud in the sky.
Sometimes there will be just enough.
The grit and grunge are always there, and the overgrown weeds and vines make it magical.
When you need an escape from the inside you can wonder into courtyards like this one.
Is this the escape?
For some it was and for others it was a portal towards continued enclosure.
