The next chapter of my career

book pages

For nearly ten years, Imagely has been my baby – although not technically.

You see, Imagely’s founder, Erick, hired me to be the face of the company and to be the person who engages with the WordPress and photography communities in every aspect. Little did I know that I would become one of the decision-makers at Imagely.

I also didn’t expect video creation and podcasting to become a regular responsibility (which I practically assigned myself), but also something I absolutely love doing more than anything.

When the pandemic started and people began working from home, that aspect of my life did not change much. However, Imagely was sold about the time the pandemic started.

The future is excellent for Imagely, but my time there has come to an end. There is so much in the pipeline that will be industry-changing. However, I will be excited to see it from the outside.

I knew I needed a change – something to spark my new passions and creativity, desire to help other people, and the need to change the world. With all this said, this has been my last couple of weeks at Imagely.

Today, I begin my new journey as the Content and Community Manager at Imagen.

Imagen makes artificial intelligence photo editing software for the photography industry.

It’s super interesting, future thinking, and workflow enhancing.

I will miss my team at Imagely and wish them the best of luck – and look forward to spending a lot of time with my new team at Imagen and changing the photography industry for the better. I hope you check out Imagen.

I have so much I want to do to engage with and teach the photography community about photography AI and workflows. It’s going to be awesome.

Thank you,
