The Perfect Location

Quick story of the family portrait session…

perfect-location

We pulled up to Liberty State Park in Jersey City, New Jersey.

It was just before sunset and we had about an hour to get in some portraits before the sun went down. This was one of the first shots from the session.

I noticed the angle and the amazing structure in the distance while we were walking along a path. I used the Nikon 70-200 to capture them from the path.

This has become my favorite shot from the shoot.

Photo Tip: Look in the distance.  No matter how far something is, it can be your perfect background.

Thanks for reading and happy shooting,

Scott

  1. Agree – looks like if you waited a few more moments through, those people also in the background to the right would have moved in behind the family and wouldn’t have them in the scene.

    1. I could remove the people as well, but not sure its worth the time. In fact, I kind of like it – shows life in the park. Thanks Scott!
