While on my Palouse, Washington trip we stopped at a well-known Round Barn and spoke with the two great grandsons of the original developer of the structure.
We were speaking with Dale and listening to his amazing stories.
He eventually touched on the topic of this mysterious mini car parked inside the round barn.
As it turns out, the car is real.
It has a real engine and transmission. It runs on real gas. It drives.
Dale’s father built it for him so that he had something fun to do. Dale was a daredevil so he drove it on the roads, into the small town some miles away.
The mini car sits silently in the round barn for everyone to see, and photograph. It’s beautiful and I’m sure is a blast to drive.
