As a phtoographer who oftens photographs entrepreneuers in various scenes and situations, I thought it would be worth sharing some advice.
First, head over to my personal brand photography page and read up on the value of photography for your business.
Then come back here for some additional advice.
Here goes!
Some brands have to face that need to be in the foreground. Like in this case, the personal brand is actually two people. So when that happens, I have to adjust my thinking as a photographer and director of the session. Some of the photos will be individual and some will be paired.
Even if a client is already impressive, and the office is impressive, I have to do everything I can do make the client look larger than life. That’s why I try to frame and compose a scene in unique ways. In this scene, I framed the client at the end of a very long conference table, as if it’s a scene from The Apprentice.
As a personal brand photographer I have to be conscious of the needs of clients. For example, if the client requires photos pointing to certain directions, then that has to be created in the photo session. Photos like these are commonly found on websites in areas called HERO sections.
Whenever doing a personal brand session it’s important to remember your team. Whether big or small, separated into groups or all together – capturing your team is essential. It’s part of who you are, and many times your team makes you better.
I hope you enjoy these tips for entrepreneurs as you consider your personal brand photography session.
