The Black Belts

The Black Belts

As the Shiai came to a close there was one more, important, group photo to capture.

Five of the black belts you see in this photo competed in the Shiai, including my father-in-law (bottom left). The rest had a role as judges.

This is an important group photo for the school as it’s rare that all of the black belts are in the same room together, especially as they all come from different dojos.

So it was an honor to be able to photograph them, and even more of an honor to be able to train with them and learn from them.
