Practical Advice for Better Virtual Calls

Matt Medeiros was frustrated by a town meeting he attended for three reasons.

  1. The connection kept cutting in and out.
  2. The audio and light were horrible.
  3. People were talking over each other

While Matt can’t control people from talking over each other, he did have some very practical advice for anyone on a virtual call, through Zoom or Meet or wherever.

As Matt said, you do not need the exact same equipment he is using. You can get less expensive equipment, and even just a basic but better quality webcam.

But audio quality matters.

Video quality matters.

Light makes a huge difference.

But remember to please be polite when you’re on virtual calls.
