New Jersey sometimes gets a bad rep (mainly from New Yorkers), but it has so much to offer.

You can drive through New Jersey in one day, or spend multiple days stopping at the many sites to see. Start at the top of the state and see the view of New York City. Head south a bit to catch some urban street scenes. Keep going and urban turns to rural and then farms and empty spaces.

New Jersey is filled with fresh colors, animals and endangered species. To the east is the Atlantic Ocean and there are also many rivers, lakes and other bodies of water scattered throughout the state.

Getting There

Getting to New Jersey is fairly easy, with a drive through New York or Pennsylvania. However, if you are driving be sure to expect tolls on the highways. EZ Pass is accepted and many toll booths are removing cash options.

There are 3 airports that are the easiest, including the Newark Airport (North Jersey), (closer to South Jersey) Philadelphia Airport and Trenton Airport. NYC airports are further but still easily doable.
