Seriously, Think About It

acadia-zen-rock

Seriously, Think About It I understand the common thing to say is “stay strong” or “we are with you.” But what does that mean? How is that helpful?

When you think about it, do those words mean more than changing your Facebook profile image? Or is it the same?

I feel like we are stuck in a catch 22. Really what should be done is to rid this world of all the bad people. We have the means to do so.

But that requires making another wrong. And Two wrongs don’t make a right.
So what do we do? How do we change the world just by showing support with words? How do we force change without making more wrongs? How do we teach love to those who hate?

How do we make sure things like 9/11 and the Holocaust and Sandy Hook and the Orlando nightclub never happen again?

What words need to be said that make a difference.

What actions need to be made?

I ask these questions without knowing an answer.

This short post has nothing to do with photography. But with all the negativity that happens in the world, and the lack of major change, I had to share my thoughts. Feel free to comment if you disagree with me, or want to point out something that is making a dent in the negativity and hate.
