How I record a podcast and edit it

How I record a podcast and edit it

This is how I record a podcast episode on my own, without a guest, and also how I edit the podcast episode. Basically, I record a video of myself, with a professional on-camera mic but off the camera about a foot from my face. I use a mixture of lights to create a dynamic look. Then, in Final Cut Pro X I edit the episode, add the intro and outro, then export.
