Photographing the Ukie Hall

Andrew and I photographed the rental hall at The Ukrainian League of Philadelphia. They needed simple shots for the website and brochure. Andrew was going to shoot it but he was having a problem with his Canon 40d. We think it is back focusing because everything is blurry no matter how sharp it looks in the viewfinder.

So these were all shot with my D700 and the 14-24mm f/2.8 lens. For the stage shot we used Andrews Canon strobes w/ colored gels and had fun with long ambient exposures to get some more color into the shot. I wasn’t too fond of the color but it’s what was wanted.
