My new everyday camera bag

I love camera bags. I love seeing new ideas and ways to store and carry your gear. Think Tank’s Shape Shifter is my new favorite bag for every day use. I am not going to go into all of the details of the bag because Think Tank’s website has tons of information on it. Jim Goldstein also made an amazing two part video review of the bag.

Part 1
Part 2

What I can tell you is this. Every day I have the bag with me. Inside is my D700, 24-70mm f/2.8 lens, 70-200mm f/2.8 VR lens, 14-24mm f/2.8 lens and sometimes the 60mm f/2.8 VR lens. All of this and the bag still takes up practically no space! When no camera gear is in the bag I can use it for packing clothing, carrying books or any other backpack type thing.

I’ve used the Shape Shifter on photowalks or just at all day events. It is always comfortable and always takes up little space.
