HDR Tennis Game 10 Result

HDR Tennis - Game 10 Result

HDR TennisGame 10 of HDR Tennis was cool, but I wasn’t happy with my result.  Either way, I had a good time with this one.  I also included a photographer’s easter egg.  This set of brackets came from Jacob F. Lucas.

In the video, which is from start to finish of my processing, you will see the many steps it took for me to get the HDR to where I was happy.

The Video

Steps

  1. Tone-Mapped in Photomatix
  2. Processed in onOne Software PhotoTools
  3. Easter Egg added in Adobe Photoshop CS5

I couldn’t decide what to do, if I should add some focal fun, black and white toning or what. I went for a desaturated tone, natural processing (which I love) and the fun Easter Egg for Jacob.

Vid inspired by Josh’s Theme Video for Obox?

Looks good other than the easter egg. While on the HDR Tennis Page, I thought it was result from some weird processing. In all honesty, do you think you could have achieved similar results with some simple curves adjustments, hue and saturation adjustments?

I felt like there was a lot going on there but not sure if it was all necessary to achieve the end result. Any thoughts?

    1. As I said, I wasn’t happy with my result. I’ve been doing these videos from the HDR Tennis matches for a few weeks now. You should check them all out.
