While photography is a fun yet serious business, it is often thought that photography is fun all the time. That it’s all about the art and that’s all. This is a myth. That’s why I created this comedic piece to share. While short, it portrays the reality of a photographer’s business. The photography business has way more business aspects than it does photography. Photographers spend more time with clients, in front of the computer, editing, billing, and trying to convert leads to customers. The amount of time making photographs is more like 20% of the total business.
