Update: Snapheal Pro is now available and works as a plugin to Lightroom, Aperture and Photoshop.
Today I am sharing a video preview of a new app from the team at MacPhun.
Snapheal is a very powerful photography tool for Mac.
It has the ability not only to make edits to your photographs, but also provides very smart content awareness, similar to Photoshop.
Snapheal Can:
- Clone & Stamp
- Saturation
- Contrast
- Color
- Sharpness
- Noise
- Tone
and more…
The biggest feature of Snapheal, of course, is the content awareness. Yes, if you have Photoshop then it may not be worth picking up Snapheal – but maybe it is. Photoshop costs an arm and a leg and does a heck of a lot. Snapheal costs $14.99 and does most of what you might need a regular basis.
Will it replace Lightroom for me as well? No, but it’s another reason to not open Photoshop.
Did I mention it handles RAW files?
To show you how much fun Snapheal can be, I created a video showing off a bunch of its features.
At the end of the video you likely noticed the Bonus. I wanted to show how I created the graphic at the top of this article.
So I highly recommend downloading the free trial of Snapheal and if you like it, $14.99 isn’t bad at all.
Good job MacPhun!
Thanks for reading and happy shooting,
Scott
