Vintage Trio 50/52

vintage-diner

Wow, just two weeks left of Project 52. This week I’m sharing a series of fun vintage photos I shot while waiting for my takeout food from Cheeburger Cheeburger in Manalapan, NJ. Yes they spell it wrong and I do not understand why. Either way, their food is great.

The first two photographs were captured using Hipstamatic’s new Disposable camera app. The third was captured straight using the iOS camera on HDR mode, and then imported into Instagram.

Thanks for reading and happy shooting,

Scott

  1. Nice set Scott! Love the vintage look! I’m sure they spelled it that way in reference to the old saturday Night Live skit where John Belushi would take orders at a diner and scream out, “Cheeburger, cheeburger,” then Dan Akroyd, who was the cook, would scream it back as he threw new patties on the grill. I could be wrong, though.

    1. That must be it. I’ve never watched SNL so I wouldn’t have caught that :-)
