Tip: Go back to the archives

It’s been busy for me lately so I haven’t had much time to go out shooting like i’d hope to.  When I don’t have the time to go out with a camera I make myself spend at least an hour working on some old photos.  Sometimes if you look at an old photo for the first time in a while you will get a new idea.  For me, I came up with these two photos.  Both were shot at Eastern State Penitentiary in Philadelphia, PA.  What you are seeing is an art installation at the museum.  It is a recreation of what the caged cells are like at Guantanamo Bay.

Photographer Tip: If you didn’t have a chance to take new pictures, work on old pictures.  Keep your creative mind going.

Both photos are 1 shot exposure HDR’s creative in Photomatix and post production in Lightroom
