As you might have read from last week’s Project 52 photo, I was hired to photograph a Miss America event here in New Jersey.  Teresa (Miss America) was at a new furniture store signing autographs and meeting with fans and pageant girls.

Before the meet, sign and greet Teresa had to film a quick commercial.  That is where this shot came from.  I was standing in the back and switched cameras to use the Nikon 70-200.  Man I love that lens.  The videographers’ were using the beautiful Lite Panels to illuminate Teresa.  They also used an iPad for the scrolling script.  Great move!

The event went well and Teresa was a blast to work with.  She is fun and is making the most of the opportunity she was given.  I am glad I accepted the gig.

Thanks for reading and happy shooting,

Scott
