The new Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8G VR II

I recently sold my 70-200mm VR lens (which was in mint condition) so that I could get the new VR II. Why would I do such a thing? The VR (1st version) lens works perfectly on all Nikon Pro SLR’s however when using it with a full frame body the image has very low contrast which gives it a cloudy look. This is a problem that has been fixed in the new version. If you have a DX sensor in your SLR and want the new 70-200mm lens but can’t afford it then save yourself some cash and check out the older version. Otherwise, have a look at the new bad boy!
