The Brew & New Jersey Smug

new-jersey-smug

I am no longer a SmugMug customer, but still part of the New Jersey Smug Group.

Here is why I continue to support the Smug group:

  • No dues
  • Amazing community
  • Fun social events
  • Awesome presentations

Recently a bunch of the members met up at the Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton, New Jersey. It was weeks before Halloween so much of the decorations and artwork suited the times.

The Brew happened to be one of the first things that the group photographed. We each picked our angles and spent about 5-10 minutes snapping away.

Camera: Leica M9
Lens: Zeiss 25mm
Processing: onOne Software’s Perfect Layers

I photographed two exposures. One for the artwork and one for the sky. Using onOne Software Perfect Layers, I masked out the sky from one bracket so the beautiful blue sky would show at the same time as the silhouette.

Thanks for reading and happy shooting,

Scott
