She Went That Way

Looking at this shot you can tell which way Hurricane Irene’s winds were going.  She also left quite a mess along the way.  Look closely at the trees in the background.  Notice how they appear to be short?  This pond is is so much higher than normal.

  1. So many photographs of Irene’s damage have been cropping up – this is another great example of her power! It was quite crazy last week venturing out into the Berkshires in search of waterfalls. The trails were in rough shape, branches and trees blocking many of the easy routes.

    And then… you get to the falls and OMG were they gushing with water! Very intense!
