While I was shooting yesterday’s Project 365 photo (which should have been this one) Doug walked into the frame of brackets trying to figure out what I was doing. He inquired about my wide lens (Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8) and then told me to photograph a “big nose” shot of him. So I have to give Doug a bit of credit for this photo because it was his idea and he can be quite the goof ball sometimes.
In Lightroom I increased the sharpness of the photo which really brings out his eyes through the glasses. I also added black vignetting which really brings your eyes straight into Dougs.
I didn’t want to correct for the lens distortion in this photo because I feel it adds that extra bit of fun to the shot.
Nikon D700, 14mm, f/2.8, 1/160
Thanks for reading and happy shooting,
