The Jersey Shore is not like the television show.
Ok, maybe a little.
But in all seriousness, there are areas of the Jersey Shore that are actually very beautiful and fun to visit – off-season.
For instance, this is from Belmar, New Jersey during a seafood fest held at the beginning of summer.
The water here is very blue, but not this blue.
Gear: Leica M9, Zeiss 25mm
Processing: onOne Software’s FocalPoint, Lightroom
For this photograph, I got as close to the water as I could without stepping in. I then got down as low as possible (no tripod with me), framed, exposed and shot. While taking the shot, I had this vision in my head and knew that FocalPoint was going to be used to create the distortion I wanted.
My goal was to have your eye drawn to the fountain and then horizontally across the houses.
Did it work for you?
Thanks for reading and happy shooting,
Scott
