Chimney Rock

Chimney Rock Park is a tourist attraction in North Carolina. It’s not too far from Biltmore in Asheville and the resort where part of Dirty Dancing was filmed. This shot was captured from the town at the bottom of the mountain.

This is a redux of the original photograph. I always wanted the edit this as a minimalistic image, but the greens were much brighter at first. When processing it the second time I decided to darken the mountain enough so there is barely color. Lightroom is a wonderful thing.
