Branch Brook Park

branch-brook-park

I shared a photograph from Branch Brook Park in Newark, New Jersey in an article discussing focus with long exposure photography.  Today’s article and photo will not be an instructional one.  Instead I just wanted to share the photograph because I really love it.

I decided to process this photograph in black & white rather than color to show than a long exposure photograph can be extremely dynamic.

Here are some specs on the shot:

  • Nikon D800 w/ 30 second shutter speed
  • 24-70mm lens at 24mm f/8

I was using  the Lee Filter Big Stopper (10 stop ND filter) to capture the shot at 30 seconds.

Thanks for reading and happy shooting,

Scott
