When Brian Matiash and I were shooting around New York City we came upon what looked to be a crime scene. We knew it wasn’t but had to go shoot it anyway. Brian posted “The Drop” which is about a discussion we were having while shooting in this location. On the right side of Brian’s photo you can see “Blog About This” if you look closely.
So why did I photograph this graffiti? Well for one thing, I wanted to see what/who JDURON.com is. As it turns out, Julian C. Duron is an artists living in New York City.
So why did Julian paint “Blog About This” on the wall? So I would write what I now? Maybe it was intended for me to photograph it and share Julian’s artwork with the world. Maybe now the graffiti is gone and I am the only person with a photograph of it. Who knows!
All I know is I enjoyed thinking about it and I hope you enjoy my photograph and Julian’s artwork.
