There isn’t always a “right” angle

Shot in Newport, Rhode Island at one of the many mansion along the shoreline.

I had very little time to get this shot and was hand holding my (at that point) week owned Leica M9. I was barely used to having a rangefinder and wasn’t quite comfortable with it yet.

I was with 5 other people and we took a group shot before heading in for a tour.

Of course, I stayed behind for an extra few seconds to get this shot and of course, the lines aren’t straight.

Sometime’s getting the lines straight is less important than capturing a memory.

This mansion was beautiful inside and out and the time I spent with friends and family was amazing and will be with me forever.

It’s not always about getting the “right” angle. It’s about the passion and the memories.

Thanks for reading and happy shooting,
Scott
