A Zen plea for all PHP and WordPress guru’s

So many of us Zenfolio users love their service but have waited patiently for their WordPress integration. Zenfolio has it planned but with no ETA whatsoever. Zenfolio user Charles Showalter has created and shared a PHP script which he compiled to enable our customers to access their password protected galleries by entering their Gallery ID and Password. While this is awesome of Charles to share it is very limited.

You can see the script in action at the footer of my website and the script itself on the Zenfolio Forum

The ideal script would give us a drop down menu of all the galleries available and then the customer would simply enter his/her password. This would be easiest for our customers which in the long run is the best solution for a simple form.

Another ideal script would be a completely integration which would show thumbnails for each gallery in a WordPress page. But lets take it one step at a time.

With all of that said, this is my plea for all and any PHP and WordPress guru’s out there to take the challenge and create the perfect PHP script or WordPress plugin to integrate Zenfolio with our websites.

I can not pay you but I can offer an enlarged print of any photograph you want of mine. Do this and help the Zenfolio community. Do this and we will all thank you. Do this and you will be appreciated!

If you are a Zenfolio member and want to give a printed photo to the person who takes on this challenge and gives us a solution please comment below.

Thanks for reading,
Scott

  1. Interesting … I'd never heard of Zenfolio before, but it looks like a fun project. Shoot me an e-mail or @Daljo628 on Twitter and I'll see what I can piece together, maybe we can work something out.

  2. Well, I am currently integrating the JSON api into TYPOlight CMS, but not wordpress. I might be convinced to spend time on that next, but first is this version!
