Last night I decided to make a pinhole body cap for my Nikon D700’s. I used the smallest drill bit I have instead of an actual pin but it works. My fstop came out to 50 which is a bit larger than a 250 fstop pin but it’ll do. It’s late and cold outside so I set my camera up in my living room facing outside. I didn’t feel like calculating my exposure as I was already having fun so I set my remote trigger to 30 minutes and walked away. This was the result. Outside is blurry as I’m still shooting through glass and apparently my window is dirty which can’t be seen from the naked eye. The image below it is my body cap with the pinhole in the word Nikon.
