Melissa and I purchase our first good knife to start replacing our bad knives set. This knife is a Shun Premier Santoku Knife.  It cuts through food like butter.  This photo is of a pear cut into pieces.  The pear is starting to turn brown so I had to eat it and photograph it before it was too late.  You understand.
