Before you read, I want to point out that what inspired me to write this post was the ZenfolioRSS plugin available for WordPress. It enabled me to put random photos I have for sale on Zenfolio on my blog. See the bottom of the post under my Last.FM recently listened to song.
I’ve been a Zenfolio member for a while now. I signed up for these reasons:
- Ability to sell to customers easily and have it printed by a professional lab
- MPIX !!!!!
- Watermark options
- HTML, not flash
- Pricing how I want it for my customers
- Password protection
- Unlimited storage with highest level account type
- Almost full customization
Am I getting what I want out of it? I sure am. It’s an amazing service and the fact that my customers can get prints from MPIX which is my favorite lab just takes the cake. I have a few complaints:
- I wish it was cheaper but you do get what you pay for
- I wish I could control my themes even more to make it flow with my website
- I wish was a good Mac photo sync’ing tool because the Lightroom plugin is not the greatest
