I’m not a video person but I like messing with it. I have always enjoyed playing with iMovie but in 2008 they redesigned it. In 2009 they thought they made it user friendly again but they really didn’t. It’s the same layout and missing the best feature iMovie had. The simple timeline! You may say, “But it has the precision editor” but you know that it is just not the same. Sure the new iMovie has great features like the image stabilizing, but what good are these features if the software is confusing to use. Now If I am wrong about this missing timeline please let me know how to bring it to life in iMovie 09 as I would love to.
Here is what I miss
- Having control over where I put the files
- Simplicity
- User friendly layout
- Dummy proof
- SIMPLE TIMELINE!!!!!
- Not having to render until the sharing/exporting process. In the new iMovie I have to render each CLIP before doing certain edits.
