At work we have a tradition where the person whos birthday it is brings in goodies to share with everyone. This is good and bad. Some people love enoying the food people bring but seem to never bring food in themselves. However, there is never a question of who will bring in food to celebrate someones birthday. For the most part it works out well.
Zappos has a funny tradition when someone hits REPLY TO ALL in a company email. You can read about it on the Zappos blog. I think there is a video somewhere too.
