The View From Charleston

view-from-charleston

On Sunday I got back from a few days in Charleston, South Carolina. I have a lot of fun stories and photographs to share but I will start with this one. Over the next few weeks I hope to share more.

I decided to start with this one because it was one of the first I captured when walking around the historic and beautiful town. Many call Charleston a city but I prefer town. Did you know it was originally called Charles Town?

I converted this photo to Black & White because it adds much more feeling to the photograph. Charleston is an amazing place that I think every person should visit. I decided for this trip that I would not photograph any brackets (although I did bring my Promote Control and Tripod) because there was too much to see and I had very little time.

Thanks for reading and happy shooting,

Scott

PS. Stay tuned for more from Charleston.

Beautiful, expansive… and the B&W conversion is perfect for the scene. Looking forward to more!

  6. I like the shot but Id probably crop down some of the sky so the frame isnt cut in half.
