RSS Feed problems and other updates

After updating my WordPress blog to the newest version 2.8.3 I noticed that my RSS feed was not working.  This affects streaming new articles to Twitter, Facebook, FriendFeed and more.

While trying to find the ‘blank space’ something went wrong and the site went down.  When I managed to get it back up every image uploaded through the blog was gone!  I usually backup my website once  a month but I have some new blog posts since the last backup.  Fortunately I used Dreamhost‘s backup system the day on August 3rd.  For the first time in a long time everything was on my side to get everything restored.

• I was driving home from work and hit no traffic
• I got all green lights on the way home
• No bad drivers in my way
• Dreamhost had a full sitewide backup
• Comcast downloaded the 400MB+ backup in 30 seconds!

So as of no I managed to get the site back up but the RSS Feed is still not working.  While I try to fix it please stop by to see new articles!

Thank you New Jersey for letting me get home in decent time, Dreamhost for having a backup and Comcast for working fast when I need it to.

• The Interviews are going great.  The list has grown quite long and hopefully will keep growing.  The first interview of Rich Legg is schedule to go live on August 12th.
• August 15th I am hoping to get to The New York Renaissance Faire and get some great photos.  It should be a fun time!
