The cliff walk in Newport, Rhode Island is such a colorful view. Although I have a lot of photographs from the walk that were converted to black and white, this view is one that deserves a photograph in its natural form.
Everything is vibrant on along the walk. The water, rocks, trees and grass, mansions, etc. Everything!
This was captured using the Leica M9 and Zeiss 25mm f,2.8 lens. The Leica makes me think more about the composition and exposure. But it also makes me slow down and enjoy the scene I am photographing.
There is more still to come…
Thanks for reading and happy shooting,
Scott
That is a lovely picture Scott. Whenever you take panoramic nature shots like that do you ever think to yourself: “This would make a great computer desktop wallpaper.”
That’s what I think whenever I’m lucky enough to see a scenic natural panorama in real life. It’s gotten so bad that I even calculate possible screen resolutions in my head. This is what happens when you spend the better part of your like staring at a computer monitor.
Oddly enough that’s never on my mind. My desktop is my logo – I prefer the simplicity so when there are icons on the desktop everything looks clean. I guess I have some OCD :-)
