Recently on Scott Kelby‘s blog photographer Jeremy Cowart announced the details of the much anticipated “Help Portrait in a very well made video.
New Jersey photographers, join me on December 12, 2009 at a location (to be determined) in New Jersey and help promote the event Help Portrait event so people who really need a portrait but can not afford one will attend.
“Help Portrait is a movement of photographers who are using their time, equipment and expertise to give back to those who are less fortunate this holiday season.”
If you are interested in working with me on creating the event in New Jersey please get in touch with me either by adding a comment on this article or through my contact form. We need Photographers, Make Up Artists and people who can just donate their time helping, assisting, bringing food and drinks, etc..

Scott – I want to be involved; it's crazy, I don't know why but I want to do this. I used to work in Trenton and my thought was to find a few groups in the city. Maybe single moms and kids then veterans, maybe some folks living in shelters. We can shoot and give prints? I don't know what the final "thing" is supposed to be. Anyway, lets talk about this. – Chris

Ok, so the Childrens Hospital told me they were up for it but had to check with the board, etc… but now they haven't called back since. Does anyone else want to give it a shot organizing something?
