Keynote: export as movie with audio

I’ve been working on a commercial to include in the new Mack Camera marketing kit. The commercial is being designed in Keynote 09. I kept running into a problem where it would export the .mov file and another .mov file of just the soundtrack. There isn’t even an option to include the soundtrack in the same file as the video. This is a major flaw in the software design.

I did some searching around Google and found a pretty good post on how to do it. All hail GarageBand.

Basically, export the Keynote file to GarageBand and then export the GarageBand movie to whatever output movie file you want. The audio is included inside of the video file. Simple and to the point!

finale: Keynote needs to bring back the SWF export
