HDR Tennis - Game 6 Result

HDR Tennis The HDR Tennis crew decided to start something new this match. Today the match winner is announced, each of us are posting our results on our own blogs. I decided to create a video showing some of the steps I took for my final result. Unfortunately we didn’t decide to do these blog posts until after I already finished my image so the walk through doesn’t show all the fine details. If we keep doing this in the future I will be sure to screencast my entire process for each match (if I have time). Either way, I hope you enjoy it!

This set of brackets is from my friend Bob Lussier.

  1. Tone-Mapped in Photomatix
  2. Staircase grungified (did I make that up?) in Topaz Labs Adjust
  3. Processed in OnOne Software PhotoTools
  4. Color pop in Nik Software Color Efex Pro
  5. Window enhanced in Nik Software Silver Efex Pro
  6. Sign sharpened in Nik Software Sharpener Pro

Please note that I use Layer Masks as often as possible.

    1. My pleasure Chris. Hope to keep them going from here on out if the HDR Tennis crew decides to make the blog posts a regular thing.

  1. Very impressive. Want to learn more on what you did using the silver effects plugin. Looks like it made the railings more organic.

    Thanks for posting.

  2. Thank-you for the video. I would never have guessed. I also enjoyed seeing your tool box .

  3. Wow, I never thought of using Silver Efex Pro for windows… even on a color photo. I can’t wait to try that out. I haven’t watched the video, but I def. will tonight when I get home from work! Can’t wait! Thanks, Scott.
