HDR – Hard Wood Flooring

I was hired by a company who buys, reconditions and sells foreclosures.  They asked me to document the before and after of each home their turn over.  This home in particular is in East Orange, NJ.  It had this beautiful hard wood floor on the first and second floor of the house.  Unfortunately not all the flooring from the first floor was salvageable so they transplanted the remains it to the second floor to replace some damaged wood there.  While documenting this house I shot a couple of HDR photos of this room to show off the beautifully restored floor.  The detail in it is so incredible it was worth fixing.

If you have an opportunity to photograph a home with a beautiful floor try doing it as a HDR.  Spend the time to make the photo more realistic and sell it to the real estate company.

Thanks for reading and happy shooting,

Scott
