The mill in Milltown, NJ has been closed for so long. By the time I discovered the mill, it was too late. The surrounding area was fenced off so people could not walk inside.
While walking around the mill, I noticed the brick coming out from behind the broken wall-front. I had with me the Leica M9 and Zeiss 25mm lens, so the wide view I knew would work very well. The funny thing is, that I though the fence would bother me, but somehow it works for me (hence the title).
I decided to go with black & white processing for this photo because I think the textures deserved the focus and not the colorful surroundings.
Thanks for reading and happy shooting,
Scott
