During my birthday drive to work this morning I was thinking how I am now 28 years old and I do so much giving back to the world. It may be insignificant compared to others but I feel that every small thing counts. Every small thing can lead to a big thing down the line. Pay it forward as some might say.
Every since getting my Associates in Photography I have been helping others with learning photography. I enjoy doing it even, until I am asked a very vague question.
So are we all just suckers? Giving away free advice to people who could most likely have paid for it? I think not. I think helping others makes us better human beings and also contributes to a better world.
I think giving free advice to a student could lead him/her to a possible career in war photography. Who knows! A person who asked for some simple advice could become president. A person never knows what will happen. Pay it forward!
So that is all. Thank you to everyone who has helped me and thank you to everyone who has asked for help. Never be afraid to to ask questions. I will tell you if the question is to vague. I will tell you if you need paid private lessons as even free advice has a limit.
Thanks for reading and happy shooting,
Scott
ps. Speaking of Paying it forward and photography have you checked out PIFPhoto.com?
pps. I have gone back to school to get my Bachelors degree so if I do not reply to a question as quick as I usually do please do not take it personally.

You're welcome. Sharing is caring!
Maybe I should say Happy Birthday Batman!
